We are pleased to announce the first edition of 2024 of The Watchman - A Multilingual Journal on Language, Literature and Translation. The issue will be brought out in the month of April 2024. You can avail this opportunity and for that you are requested to submit your scholarly research paper by 29th February 2024 under the following format:

• Language of the research papers will be English.

• Area of research paper includes Literature, Literary Criticism, Art criticism, Linguistics, Language, Translation, etc.

• The scholarly research papers must be submitted before 29th February in soft copy to thewatchmanjournal@gmail.com.  

• The contributors must submit the research papers only in Times New Roman, size 12 with 1.5 Line spacing and one inch margin on all sides.

• Contributors are to follow the latest MLA style of documentation.

• Title of the paper: bold, title case, centred.

• Text of the paper: justified.

• Titles of books: Italics.

• Titles of articles: quoted.

• A short-bio data of the contributor(s) indicating name, institutional address, postal address, contact number(s) and e-mail in a separate page.

• Each paper must be accompanied by a declaration that it is an original work and has not been published anywhere else.

• Submissions will be forwarded to the both referees for reviewing them. After receiving their reviews, the editors will take the final decision regarding publication.

• The editors are not responsible for the papers of the contributors that have appeared elsewhere.

• There is no word-limit for articles but ideally those should be around 5000 words, inclusive of notes and references.
